If you were an American teen between the 90s to early 2000s, you undoubtedly were willing to barter a limb for a ticket to the Vans Warped Tour. This rock and alternative music festival will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year with a 42 date tour across the US.

The Vans Warped Tour was the brain child of Kevin Lyman, who got the idea for the tour after visiting skateboarding shows. It takes its name from the short-lived Warp Magazine, published by Transworld, which covered surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding and music. Vans, a skateboard shoe manufacturer has been sponsoring the tour since 1994.

Originally playing only skate punk and third-wave ska, the tour has now expanded to include pop punk, metalcore, and hip-hop music. For the full list of confirmed acts visit, Care to relive the glory days of your youth? Then order your kids a ticket and tag along. Warped now offers one complimentary parent/guardian admission to accompany a minor (under 18) that has purchased a ticket.

If you’re planning on skipping the festival this year, here are a few ways you can still rock out:

The Warped Tour will also be making a repeat visit to Europe this year. The tour continues through the United States until August, but you can already suggest which bands you want included in the Vans Warped Tour Europe 2014 on the website.
